Consul General of Venezuela Sends a Letter of Thanks to CCSEZR

Recently, Chery Han Jabour Tannous, the Consul General of Venezuela, sent a letter to Prof. Tao Yitao, Director of China Center for Special Economic Zone Research (CCSEZR), Shenzhen University (SZU), thanking her for the support provided during Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s visit in China, and for signing the “Memorandum of Cooperation Between the National Administration of Special Economic Zones of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and China Center for Special Economic Zone Research, Shenzhen University of the People’s Republic of China on the Cooperation, Development and Modernization of Special Economic Zones” with the Vice-Minister and the Director of the Venezuelan National Administration of Special Economic Zones, witnessed by the Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro. The Memorandum aims to formulate a strategy for cooperation, development, and modernization of special economic zones, and implement a joint action mechanism based on China’s experience. The signing of the Memorandum reflects the international impact of China’s experience in the development of special economic zones and will further expand the international influence of CCSEZR.
